Fantastic day at Welcome to the Darker Side (29th August)
What a day!
On Saturday 29th August, Plentuspire headed to Welcome To The Darker Side, and let me tell you - I enjoyed every minute!
The venue itself was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for an event with a slightly darker, alternative twist. From the moment of arrival, there was such a great atmosphere and it only got better as the day went on.
A huge thank you to NuWaveEvents for putting together such a fabulous event and for giving me the opportunity to be part of it.
The music was another highlight, with the incredibly talented Rebecca Leivers Art providing some beautiful live music throughout the day. It added so much to the atmosphere and made the whole event feel even more special.
And then there were the visitors... beautiful people and so many wonderful conversations, loved chatting and sharing stories. These are the moments that make spending a day at an event so worthwhile, thank you for all your purchases too – your support means so much.
Also, I was lucky enough to share the day with some fabulous fellow small businesses - Fresh Canvas, Martina's Craft, Luna Magik, The Sanctuary and Purple Raven. What started as meeting fellow exhibitors at events has turned into beautiful friendships, and there was certainly no shortage of laughter throughout the day!
Of course, I couldn't leave without doing a little shopping myself! I picked up some beautiful presents from Dark & Darling, and I'm already looking forward to giving them to their new owners. It's one of the things I love about these events - getting to discover other small businesses, hear the stories behind what they create and support each other along the way.
Looking back, it was one of those days where everything just seemed to come together - a beautiful venue, fantastic music, wonderful visitors, brilliant small businesses and plenty of laughter.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special. We came home tired, happy and very grateful to have been part of it.
