A Weekend of Highs, Lows and Gratitude (18th - 19th July)

This weekend was a reminder that no two events are ever the same.

On Saturday, Plentuspire had the pleasure of attending the York Summer Wellbeing Festival, organised by Artisan Emporium and what a fantastic day it was. We had so many wonderful conversations, met so many beautiful people and shared stories with visitors who were genuinely interested in wellbeing, aromatherapy and self-care. Thank you for all your support and purchases on the day!

Day's like these leave us feeling inspired and incredibly grateful.

One of the highlights of the day was spending time with such wonderful fellow exhibitors. We enjoyed beautiful conversations throughout the day and it was lovely supporting one another as small businesses. I couldn't resist bringing home some beautifully handmade soap bars from Soap Out of the Garden - they're absolutely amazing and I'll be sharing a few photos at the end of this blog. A heartfelt thank you also to Synergisingh for your kindness, support and for choosing something from the Plentuspire stall. Moments like these are a wonderful reminder of the friendships and community that grow through these events.

Sunday brought a very different experience at the Hooton Lodge Summer Fayre. It wasn't our busiest event and sometimes that's simply the reality of running a small business. Not every event goes the way you hope and not every day brings the same opportunities for connection.

A heartfelt thank you to the organisers of the Hooton Lodge Summer Fayre for all their hard work in bringing the event together. It was clearly a well-attended day and we truly appreciate the time, effort and dedication that goes into organising community events like these. Every event is different and we're grateful for the opportunity to have been part of it.

Of course, it's natural to feel a little disappointed when an event doesn't unfold as expected. But every event teaches us something new, reminds us to keep going and helps us appreciate the wonderful days even more. Small business journeys are rarely a straight line and perhaps that's what makes the successes feel even sweeter.

So this weekend brought both highs and lows, gratitude and reflection and we're thankful for all of it. Every event becomes part of the Plentuspire journey and we're looking forward to seeing where the next chapter takes us.
